Madhu Kamini is a tropical evergreen shrub that can also transform into a small tree. Its other names include Murray Exotica, Chinese Box, Satinwood and Mock Orange, among others. The key attraction of this plant is small white-colored and scented flowers. The bell-shaped flowers are there throughout the year, and the glossy leaves complement their look. What adds to the appeal is the fact that the flowers are followed by small oval red fruits that have one or two seeds.

Not many people know that this plant is closely related to Citrus and has small red or orange fruit that looks like a kumquat. You can grow this plant in a container and make sure that it gets ample sunlight per day to see it in its full glory. These plants need less water and can retain it for many days.
