Also known as the Araucaria Plant, the Arkeria is a seasonal indoor pine tree that is also a key Christmas season plant. Other names of the plant are Araucaria heterophylla, Star pine, Norfolk Island pine tree, Monkey puzzle tree, Triangle tree and Living Norfolk pine Christmas tree. This plant is not a winter plant and loves direct sunlight but can survive hardiness zones that have a cold climate if you provide it with high humidity and ample protection from winter. It can also be an evergreen tree that has vertical growth and can reach up to 80′ inch tall.

Most people use the Arkeria plants as a charming Christmas decoration. This plant was discovered centuries back, in 1774. It can survive under low light conditions but might droop to an extent. You can put two or three of these plants in a single pot, or you can go for one plant per pot. Both are great options.
