Sun Exposure – More than 6 hours of direct bright sunlight a day is ideal for plants. These trees are heavy feeders and need full sun to grow their golden fruit. It is a tropical plant, so keep it in the sun for 6-8 hours.

Fertilizer – During the main growing season (June-July) feed the plant with organic fertilizer. For young trees, fertilize once a month, for large trees three to four times a year. The quantity varies depending on the size of the tree.

Maintenance  – The water needs for an Alphonso mango tree are high, as is the case with many fruit trees. Give these trees water daily while they are young. Provide water about once per week or more when the tree is a bit older and more established.
